Last night, Margot Robbie attended the LA premiere of Focus , her new film with Will Smith. Scroll down to watch a video about Margot talking about playing Jess, the "rough around the edges" character she plays in the movie.

In the video she also talks about her character's style and how it evolves throughout the movie.

"I was lucky they were very open to suggestions," she says of the wardrobe department. "Most of the time I always try to stay out of it because otherwise you end up dressing yourself and looking like yourself so it's better just to let the people hired to do their job, DO their job."

Margot particularly enjoyed her character's clothes: "I wanted there to be a transition. The only input I had to my costuming was that I wanted there to be a difference between the first half of the movie and the second half of the movie."

Talking of style, Margot is really wowing on the red carpet. She looked incredible at the Oscars in a black Saint Laurent gown before slipping into a monochrome dress at the Vanity Fair after party.

Last night's look was once again black and white - it's obviously her favourite look.

The 24-year-old kept her accessories to a minimal and wore just a few sparkly rings and a pair of diamond studs.
