Dyson's Supersonic Flyaway Attachment Review: Our Honest Thoughts

May 2024 · 2 minute read

"So I've just curled my hair with some styling tongs but I mean look at these flyaways! That is not the look I was going for and I've not even been outside yet. Apparently all I have to do is run this over the top of my head and it will grab onto the flyaways and smooth it down and lock it in." Lottie adds the Flyaway Attachment to the end of her Supersonic hair dryer. "I'm going to use full power on air flow and then the lowest heat setting and lets just give it a go!"

Lottie sweeps the Dyson Supersonic down her hair with the Flyaway Attachment attached: "Um, what! I am completely blown away - pun intended. That was so impressive! It was so quick with no heat and no product - which is a big thing for me because I have really greasy roots so whenever I put on a smoothing serum or shine spray my hair is greasy within the hour. This looks like I've put on serum but my hair is completely product free."

"This attachment by itself is £30 which isn't bad. It's a similar price to some of the more premium smoothing serums, but this will never run out, or it comes with Dyson's Supersonic hair dryer if you buy that. I am sold on this, well done Dyson!" Lottie says.
