We've spotted a new nail art trend emerging that's quite literally raising the bar โ or the height, at least โ of your mani. Sounds odd? Bear with...
As with many of our fave weird and wonderful beauty upgrades, the trend for 3D manis started off in Korea before making its way around the globe and onto the fingertips of some of our favourite celebs.
The nail art sees 3D accents like squiggles, flowers, water droplets and even gummy bears and tiny cartoon characters added to nails for a little extra swag.
South Korean nail pro, Park Eunkyung, better known as @nail_unistella has been creating cool and interesting dimensional designs for years, including for some of her famous KPop clients like Blackpink's Lisa and Jennie.
And we've seen celebs like Nikki Minaj, Cardi B, Katy Perry and Kylie Jenner all embrace taking their mani to the next level, too, with the water droplets trend, especially, taking off.
Recently, we've seen more and more inspo cropping up all over our Instagram feeds โ whether you want a subtle nod to the trend with some low-key squiggles or a cutesy daisy, or whether you want to go pure maximalist with giant jelly hearts, fluro colour and wild motifs on each finger.
